The HCA Annual Clay Shoot went off with a bang! The event had a great turnout, with 348 shooters on teams of four. Held at Westside Sporting Grounds, teams played at one of three courses, with a top gun winner at each course. Top gun winners from all courses were: John R. with Aggregate Technologies, Darrel Brandt (no company listed) and Trey Lamar with Lonestar Prestress. The tournament was scored using the Lewis Class System. Each course had three Lewis classes.

White course Lewis 1 winner was BRH Garver followed by Ferguson Waterworks, Lewis 2 winner was AAA Asphalt followed by Double Oak Erosion and Lewis 3 winner was Bottom Line Equipment LLC followed by Cokinos|Young. Green course Lewis 1 winner was Rangeline Tapping Services Inc. followed by Waukesha-Pearce Industries LLC., Lewis 2 winner was Peoples United followed by Peltier Brothers and Lewis 3 winner was NBG Construction Inc. followed by Romco Equipment. Yellow course Lewis 1 winner was Lonestar Prestress followed by Ferguson Waterworks, Lewis 2 winner was Lem Construction followed by Lonestar Prestress and Lewis 3 winner was Five Companies LLC. Followed by Houston Waterworks Team. 

After everyone was finished at their stations, members enjoyed a great meal sponsored by Andrews Myers and Gulf Coast Stabilized Material. The day was completed by a raffle, where 11 donated guns were raffled off. Everyone had the chance to enter the raffle to win amazing prizes. Prizes varied from a handgun, Beretta shotguns, to a customized American Flag Howa 6.5 Creedmoor with scope and bipod. Thank you to Diamond Plastics/Britco for donating the American Flag Howa 6.5 Creedmoor. Everyone joined together under the pavilion that was sponsored by Accurate Meter & Supply, Advanced Drainage Systems, ChaceTech, Cokinos|Young and Mersino Dewatering, Inc.
