HCA Tours the Spindle Tap Brewery
This month the Houston Contractor’s Association broke from its usual tradition of hosting a member luncheon with a speaker, and opted for a purely fun event, a tour of the local Spindle Tap Brewery. The brewery held its grand opening to the public in November of 2015. It currently produces eleven different types of beer, six of those beers are available on tap in local bars and restaurants and their top two, Boomtown and Honey Hole are packaged and available in local grocery stores. All eleven beers are available in their tap room located at 10622 Hirsch Rd. Houston, Tx. and they are open Friday’s from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturday’s from noon to 9:00pm and Sunday’s noon to 6:00pm but only during the football season.
The tour was a big hit with our members drawing over 150 attendees for a buffet lunch, tour of the brewery and all the free beer you could drink. Each attendee also left with a complimentary, commemorative pint glass as a gift from Spindle Tap.
