Carlecia Wright Speaks on the Upcoming Release of the City’s Disparity Study

This month’s guest speaker for the HCA monthly luncheon was the Director of the Office of Business Opportunity for the City of Houston, Mrs. Carlecia Wright.  Mrs. Wright acknowledged that she had spoken before our organization six or seven months earlier, primarily as an introduction of herself as the new department director.  She stated that she was here now to update our association on where we are with the City’s disparity study.  Mrs. Wright thanked the members of HCA for providing the necessary data that was missing from the city records to complete the study.  She said that...[continue reading]
